Late season Tomato in Zone 7

Hello all,

I know it is tomato planting time for some in zone 7 -but- I have a question about late tomato planting in zone 7.

Anyone here have experience with planting out fresh plants in mid-June for harvest in September?? I am thinking about starting some plants of the "early" (55-65 DTM) tomatoes for September.

If anyone has done this in zone 7 please post your experience including what your harvest was like. I am only looking to grow outside plants -not- under hoops.

Thanks,

DL
