Where are you, is the Mango potted or in the ground, what variety is it, how old, and have you sprayed with copper after it bloomed?

Mango trees prefer dry weather in spring to promote blooms and fruit set.

The problem could be weather, water, fungal disease, lack of fertilizer and lack of pollinators.

Mango trees in my area (zone 10, Florida) often have several blooms before they settle down and set fruit. I have to spray them, due to the humidity.

Thanks for the reply. I am in Pinellas county near St. Pete. The tree is old and in the ground its about 30ft tall. I have read about the dry weather after blooming. There were a few cold rainy days a week ago maybe thats what did it in. There are many pollinating insects around the tree at all times. And at least 5 other large mango trees in the neighboorhood so polination is not a problem. I think the variety is a Haden if from pics I have seen on the net. I hope it blooms again cause I like the fruit. How do you spray the tree? It seems too big for that I could only get maybe a third of it. I didnt feed it thats something I should have done. If your tree bloom during the rainy days. It may have got some fungal problems on the blooms, which could have destroyed your fruitsets. Spray copper when it sends out new flower growth, I think the fungus gets to them even way before it begins to bloom. Some varieties has multiple blooms during the year, some will not, I don't know about your variety. Home Depot and other similiar stores will have these spray pumps that hold a couple of gallons you could buy for like forty dollars. It would seem kind of dangerous if you tried to get the entire tree since you mention its 30ft, I would not worry about spraying the entire tree just areas that you could easily reach and pick fruits.

I just bought an Ice cream Mango, It's blooming right now. I just tried to hand pollinate it since there's no insects in my greenhouse.
Should I avoid watering it and misting it with water?
Do I have to spray it now while it's blooming with a fungicide?

You can still spray now but at this stage its not as effective. You want to spray before the blooms ever open. Also if your growing it in a greenhouse, you may have less problems with fungus, high temp + high humidity usually keeps them at bay. Its when you have cool temp + humidity you get the fungus problems. Your plant seems to appear fungus free. As for hand pollination, I'm not sure how you would even begin with mangos so can't help you there but its definitely worth the shot.

I tried had pollination 2 days in the row, however i'm not noticing the pollen being released by the flowers.Any idea if they are released at a certain time of day?

Hey Bass, nice looking tree. For starters, I have had no luck with hand pollinating mangos. I tried a little experiment the last time mine bloomed. Half I tried hand pollinating and the other half I left completely alone. Nothing held long on the hand pollinated blooms and everything soon turned brown and dried up. The ones I left alone held some fruit. You can take that for whatever it's worth. But I too could never see any pollen transfer.

Mango is a very complicated species of fruit plant. The inflorescense contains both bisexual(hermaphrodite) and male flowers, but a lot more male than the bisexual ones.
Some varieties produce fruit in one year and go completely fruitless the next, but there are also a lot of factors affecting flowering and eventual fruit set, like weather, pest, diseases and nutrition.
