Happy Fl Gardener, That is Calathea Zebrina. Outside of collecting EE's, I collect Calatheas for ground cover. Most are not winter hardy here, but Zebrina is. This past winter, which was particularly harsh, knocked it into dormancy. But it came back just as big as it was last season. I can't say that for the others. I have to cover them and baby them through winter. Otherwise, they may not come back at all and if they do, they are small. So, I cannot say enough about this particular Calathea. Thanks Tina

It's best to plant creeping fig in a container and they do grow wide so in this case, my thoughts are that you should place your topiary in a large container and underplant it with the creeping fig. Let it grow upwards to cover the structure. It's just like using ivy to grow up a frame. In the tropics where I used to live, we used the creeping figs to cover our tall cement walls. One plant is sufficient to cover a large amount of space and so if given a large container to grow in, it would be able to grow large enough to cover your topiary frame. Make it 2 plants if you want to save time. Afterall these are slow growers.

I have a table, a lateral file and a bookcase in my cube. I won't go into detail about what is on them...as well as my floor. Sigh.

Oh My Goodness......So many Beautiful ways to Decorate with Large Wall Clocks, Thank you all So Very Much!!! I am taking a ScreenHunter Shot of each one of these, including the link/PB and emailing them to my sister. I just knew the folks here would be able to help me prove my point! I don't have a large indoor wall clock. I have a rather hefty, iron Station Clock that hangs outside between the two little, DIY patio areas. Now that I see all these photos.....I WANT ONE for indoors! I never thought I had the wall for one but seeing these pics, and seeing how they are incorporated into the decor, I think I could actually squeeze one in on the dining room wall! Or heck, in front of my china hutch! You all are amazing...Thank you! Well, of course I want a large clock now.....I just saw a post where the large clocks are a bit passe. Just like me to start to love something when everyone else is on to something else. Always a day late and dollar short. LOLOLOL
