Container choices

having just moved to central florida from Idaho, I have found that overall the comercial grown tomatoes here really seem to taste bland to me. In Idaho we had room for a small garden but varity choice was first based on the short growing season there.

Now i'm in an rv park and will be restricted to only 2 or 3 plants, and container grown.

i would think this might be better here florida has i will be able to have a soil and amend as needed instead trying to grow in the sand.

any way. im looking for suggestions on varieties to try.

I prefer size a bit smaller than beefsteak and such, but a little larger than your typical store findings.

primary use will be to eat straight or on sandwhich.

I also prefer a strong flavor and higher on the acid side.

the yellow and low-acid varieties are not my cup of tea.

Any tips for suitable varieties as well as with container growing them in flordia will be most welcome!

Thanks in advance,

Don
