I cannot seem to figure out what is wrong with my tomato. It is a patio tomato.

The leaves look almost like someone rubbed them on the dirty pavement - not exactly black spots and not exactly black splotches. Other leaves are yellowing and dying. I had been pinching off the yellowing ones until it finally registered that something was wrong with the plant. It has been very rainy here for what seems like forever, though the last few days have been bright and summery.

All it is receiving is water at present. There do not appear to be any bugs on the plants. The fruit appears fine (fingers crossed) and I have had one tomato obviously move toward ripening in the last day or so.

I would appreciate any advice you might have.
