Here's a partial list of what I have available and plan to bring. A large number of the plants on my list are newly transplanted or are still smaller seedlings. They may require some tender care initially. Pot size may vary and could be as small as 1"x1"x2" cells all of the way up to 3 gallon sizes for certain plants. I've put down my best guess for pot sizes, but with so many plants it's hard to keep track of exact sizes. I am willing to split cell packs if you only need one or two plants from a multi-cell pack. Please view my "Want List" posted on this site to see what plants and supplies I'm hoping to trade for. I am in short supply of 1, 2, and 3+ gallon plastic pots. If you bring pots to trade, PLEASE make sure they are clean (ie- dirt/plant debris knocked out and no "critters")! so excited! i have been digging and potting and labeling since i got home from work. then when it got dark i came inside and have been reading and reviewing on here! columbiastock- could i have some orange mint cuttings? i "borrowed" some orange mint and chocolate mint cuttings from the missouri botanical gardens last june but the orange didn't make the drive back to nashville. by the way, everyone needs to go to the botanical gardens in st louis. it is beyond amazing. mtps field trip! steve- i have some ivy for you and mint and oregano. i have a bunch of chocolate mint. i consider it to be awesome since i stole it from the missouri botanical gardens. you are welcome to one if you'd like. i think i am going to have some key lime basil which is about my favorite thing ever, but not big enough to bring yet. if they make it i'll hopefully have some in the fall or can meet you with some before then. it smells so good. i was told when i bought it (in st louis at the soulard farmers market) that it is fantastic in key lime ice cream and on fish. i mostly just smelled it just about every time i stepped foot outside last summer. heather- i have a solomon's seal for you. the mexican bamboo interests me... and the scented geraniums as well. everything you have interests me! i'll probably just wander by your tent a lot tomorrow toward the wrapping up phase and see what kind of stragglers you want to donate. i saw those purple flash peppers at cheeckwood last fall. maybe i can get there some and find them and borrow some seeds. columbiajen- i have some red cannas i am bringing. at least i think they are red. let me know if you want some. mspam- i have a lot of things not yet claimed. i am still fairly new to gardening myself and love to take the leftovers people don't want to take back home at the end of the swap. i second tiffany- what is on heather's list that i don't want! i was the same way at the fall swap. i kept finding myself back at heather's tent even when i tried to stay away. it was like a magnetic field! i was drawn to her lovely plants and lovely conversation and gardening tips! and her hat was awesome, too. i actually got way more into herbs after talking with you last fall, heather. can i join the crazy plant lady in training club?!?! connie, heather, and steve always have so much i feel greedy when reading their lists! my goal is to be like you guys someday! i work for the school system and have one week until a 2 month break from work, so this summer i am going to spend a lot of time organizing and taking pictures of my yard stuff so i can show off better next year, and hopefully remember what i have better as well. see you all tomorrow morning!!! can't wait!!! rebecca i second tiffany- what is on heather's list that i don't want! i was the same at the fall. i kept finding myself back at heather's tent even when i tried to stay away. i was drawn to her lovely plants and lovely conversation and gardening tips! i actually got way more into herbs after talking with you last fall, heather. mspam- i have a lot of things not yet claimed. i am still fairly new to gardening myself and love to take the leftovers people don't want to take back home at the end of the swap.

I agree with both ideas! We have done the number thing in the past (I say we but it was actually Renee' who did it for me when I was laid up in the fall of Â06). I'll get something implemented in that area for the fall swap. I already know that DougÂs gonna want to reserve #3 and IÂll take The King #43 or the #88 Navy. Just as long as I donÂt have "Kick me" on my back. I was just on the phone with Mona for the last hour and a half (Virginia she may want to ride with you in the fall!) and we discussed starting at 9:00 rather than 10:00 which we both agree is far better because we have more time to swap. But that means that everyone is going to have to get to the MTPS at 8:00 so you can be set up and ready to rock at 9:00. The whole reason behind waiting until 10:00 was because we couldn't get everyone in that early and set up. So if ya'll promise to get there earlier then we will start swapping earlier. IÂm toying with an idea about pre-swaps on our site but I want to run it by Bec first. This is something that we may test run on the MTPS website rather than the "Exchange" page on GW since nobody ever goes to the "blue" page. Stay tuned for more info. Hopefully Joe will have the pictures up and ready soon so we can share our wonderful Saturday with everyone else. IÂve gone through three years/six swaps of 1,000 photos and picked out about 9% of those to add to the website. Dang IÂve picked up a lot of weight in four years!!! It was great looking at some of those old shots of you guys. Nobody ever thanks Joe for all his hard work at the swap! YaÂll he never gets to do any swapping or much socializing because heÂs either busy helping me or shooting all those wonderful pictures. So donÂt forget the Zigmeister when youÂre patting folks on the back for doing a great job at the MTPS because he works his tail off!!!
