Places to buy palms in Albuquerque

Hey guys, its good to see a lot of you hear from ABQ. Anyone know where a good place is to buy palm trees in Albuquerque?

I know that Osuna Nursery has quite a few fairly large Mexican Fans, Trachys and Mediterranean Fans right now. Lowe's on Paseo del Norte has some smaller Mexican Fans. Various Rowland's around town have a variety of palms on hand, usually Mexican Fans, Sagos, Mediterranean Fans and Ponytail Palms. I'm actually amazed how easy it is to buy palms here in town, although the variety is pretty limited.

The best place to order palms that can be delivered or close to where you live is Chilly Palm Tree Company. The palms are grown on the piedmont of SC near the NC border where it gets cold and snows and is not as mild as Charleston or Myrtle Beach. Sean McFall the owner is a great guy to deal with and prides himself on not "babying" his palms in a green house and lets them take the elements as much as possible outside. Check out his link and see if he will deliver close to LI, NY. His palms have worked the best for me in Zone 7a in Northern Virginia with no winter casualties. Best place to get bulk windmill palm seeds?

Windamere is T.latisectus,they grow slow and are not as hardy as Fortunei. I would stay with Fortunei,Wagnerianus,Fortxwag. What area do you live in? I believe High Country Gardens, which has shops in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe, sells young herb plants. Otherwise, Home Depot and Walmart sell some. Lorna

no, now would suck to plant them, but i just wanted to know where some would be, if you havent seen the palms at the hilton near the Big I, I highly recomend them, on the south side of the building, there are 4 or so windmills, one nearly 2 stories tall
