Actually there are 3 search boxes on that page, only one of which is the correct one to use. The one to use is just below the list of threads there on page one, and it defaults to just searching that forum. There is also one at the very top in the green banner, and that is not one to use, because as you said, it searches all of the many forums and brings up all of their posts. There is also one at the very bottom, just 'above' the green banner and that is also not to be used if wanting to search just the Rate and Review Forum. Here is a bit more explanation about the Instructions and it covers where the right search box is found. Special Instructions for the Forum It would certainly be nice if the 2 boxes that do not apply to searching that forum were removed. I know a lot of members don't likely find the right one, which results in multiple threads being started. Remy had come up with the idea for some FAQ (frequently asked questions) for the forum and a thread was started for it. She volunteered to try and get them together with the help of input from members. Hi Kathy645, YIKES!...There is a major malfunction at Rate and Review, and I see what you are talking about. In doing a search on my name there it says that there are 86 replies with the last one shown (on the search page) having a date of Feb 14, 10. In actually looking at the thread, there are 77 replies with the last reply being made on Jul 29, 09. (like you said...) So is everything since July 09 gone including my post? Or can other people see up to Feb 2010? Okay. I put in her name in the top search box, but I got every trade and other message out there for her on GW. So maybe she doesn't have a rate and review yet. I just wish they had it like the old forum where the rate & review itself had a search box. I put other people's names in there, along with "rate & review," and I still got all kinds of other posts, messages, etc. Thanks for your help, though. I figured I was doing something wrong. I actually have a link on my Ideabook for my rate & review page. Makes it easier for people to find me. Just click and you're there to review me. :)

I'm not so sure it is possible to make things flow in that order 100% of the time. However, I think its a very good goal to streamline the order of operations as presented. I definitely think it is important to have prep space near a water source which is also close to a stove. But sometimes I do think that the hulking fridge just has a mind of it's own where it needs to/can go. I think if you keep the fridge at a reasonable distance to your wash/prep zone without having to make several left turns around your island you are within the realm of workability. Just my opinion. That said in cobbyw's case the suggestions Jillius made look feasible and that fridge move could be preferable to having it so far into the work zone.
