I am extremely security conscious obviously, I use hard nonsense passwords and rarely ever use the same password for anything , for security sensitive sites I never use the same and always use hardened password. I have one notebook I keep everything written down in, I keep it in a secure locked location, I do NOT put them on my pc and NEVER in my email account if your email is hacked they have access to every single one of your accounts and passwords that is the biggest no no of them all because email accounts are so easily hacked these days. For those doing that I urge you to reconsider!!! If someone manages to break into my house past me and my husband and dogs and our weapons and manage to steal my computers and also find the locked location of my password book and break into that and find that particular notebook then they can have it because I will be cold and dead by then. And I would imagine they will be shedding a little blood too. The only other location is in a lock drawer in a completely separate location, not in my home, in case of a fire or catastrophe here. I never allow the browser to remember passwords and never ever keep any type of password or registration info in my email since email is so insecure.

Although I'm kind of a rare poster, I'm here all day, every day. I came by this wonderful forum by way of Southern Living boards and someone I remember as Hanart....I think maybe for her kitties? I'm not sure...but I was so SO glad she told me about this forum!! I'm "Gigi" to my grandbabies....and there were 7....well, now we're expecting #9! Guess that's what happens when you have 5 children and they are all close in age...gee whiz, I'm "only" 56 years old! AND two of the kids aren't even married yet.....oh, my. Christmas is pretty expensive...and loads of fun! If I could figure out the whole picture thing, you all would hear a LOT from me...oh, my real name is Kathy and I live in the Texas Panhandle. Lynn, I always think of you in NM as we frequently visit Santa Fe...would love to have a second house there! This is a fun thread!

Those plastic cove fixtures might turn out to be wonderfully cool with carefully selected color temps in the bulbs. But the carpet has to go! You're much braver/saner than I in tackling so many sequential kitchen renos. They'd have to hospitalize me if it fell to me. Will watch to see what your plans turn out to be (the Kalcebo kitch was very nice, so I'm sure this one will be, too.) ::shakes head:: Twice tonight someone mentioned carpet in a kitchen, when did that ever come in? And what were they thinking? Does anyone cook neatly enough to never slop anything on the floor? My kitchen floors, if carpeted, would turn into a compost pile sooner or later! L

Thank you Tamara. I still can't find this actual thread (I lost it, haha), but I found this in my profile. That's good to know about search; hopefully I'll get used to it and it will be more useful than annoying. I'm not one who takes change well, and I admit I lost my temper a little yesterday, but I will try to be more patient. I found a thread that mentioned the "first name" trick, which is how I have Rosecandy displayed. Am I correct in believing that other users can see all the recent threads I looked at? If so is there a way to stop that? I like my privacy. ...and now I found the thread, *whew!*
