Hi Tamara,

Over on the Winter Sowing Forum we need to put in an email in order to make a post. This email is visibile. I tried adjusting the setting in my account so it won't show my email but I got an error message.

Also, again at the WS forum, when you click on the link for 'Other Forums', you get an access forbidden message.

Hope you get the kinks worked out soon...

I don't like posting my e-mail address, and what happened to all the " My Page" pages.

Nutkin88, you were so fortunate! I have three Dacor appliances, the PO 127 wall oven, the Millennia cooktop and the microwave, as well as three expensive extended warranties. Dacor has replaced every one of them, but not willingly. I had to keep after it continuously. Sunday's problem was with the wall oven. The sear/convection roast mode didn't and doesn't work properly. I was making a pork roast using sear/convection. For doneness, the internal temp was supposed to be 155. After 50 minutes, the oven went into the Hold mode which holds the temp at 150, so the roast never got done. I changed the roasting mode to Bake which indicated that the internal temp was 70 degrees! Even after I roasted it to its specified internal temp of 170, I had to roast it another half hour before it was done. This is the third incident involving the malfunctioning sear/convection roasting mode. So today I called Dacor EASE, the entity which issued the Certificate of Coverage for the oven. The warranty for the oven cost $399 for three years. The agent there told me that Dacor had cancelled my certificate which states that the expiration date is 8/17/10. Can a company unilaterally cancel a contract? However, I would advise anyone in the market for kitchen appliances to save yourself trouble and just bypass Dacor.

You could try this then, if your unwilling to reset windows 10, resetting windows 10 gives you the option to keep your files and it will reinstall windows, some applications will have to be re-downloaded / reinstalled. This is what I would do next: Try running the following from a Elevated Command Prompt, one at a time: Once the command prompt is open you can copy 1 line at a time and paste it into the black command prompt window, then hit enter on the keyboard. Do that for each line (1 , 2, & 3) Don't copy the 1 2 0r 3, just the command... 1 Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup 2 Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth 3 SFC /scannow How to open an elevated command prompt in windows 10 https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2790-open-elevated-command-prompt-windows-10-a.html Also If you right click the start menu, I think you will see cmd (admin) in the list

Thank you all, and thank you Dyhgarden. Yes, I agree. My heart hurts for him and his dibilitating head injury. But, he was former military, big, stocky, mid-thirties, and able to own and drive a car. So, in my mind (and others) it was possible that he could have harmed her. He didn’t. He abided the police order and I’m so thankful for that. I’ll keep him in my prayers for his recovery and a happy life, though.

I have been having the same problem this morning on the Perennials forum. It is requesting my name and email address in order to post. I actually created a new fictitious account and found I could post, but when I returned to see if it was fixed, it wouldn't allow me to even use that fictitious account information in order to post. I tried just typing in any old name and email, but it wouldn't allow me to post either. I visited the New England Forum and tried to post there and there is no request for email address there.

Hope you can get this fixed soon...

I do not like this at all. As it is, you can type a completely fake email address and be allowed to post, so what's the point?

If GW is going to require us to post real email addresses for anyone to gather every time we post a message/response, they will find a lot of people are outta here due to privacy and spam concerns.

It's a glitch, Gardenweb's webmaster knows about it and will fix the problems. (we all hope)

The latest...Jan 10: After making some hardware updates last night, we have experienced a few pesky bugs that we are working to exterminate.

From what I'm seeing the THS section is fine. When you get to the GW section things are screwy.

I can get to every forum from the forum list page, then say i click on rose forum, it brings me to the main rose forum entry. From here I click on the 1st entry.. roses, then click on rose ID. Rose ID does not work when selecting it from the forum jump. I can get to all of the rose forums via that main rose page and once at the name the rose, if I click on a post that attaches a picture, I get the user name / password box.
