A very Happy Unbirthday to you, to you! Let's go to the Mad Hatter's tea party!

Wow, I really did not expect to see the birthday wishes but thank you all so much. I looks like it might rain today so I don't know how much I will get done in the garden today but hey, can't complain as it has been lovely and warm for days. The great warm weather will continue thru the weekend and until at least the begining of next week. I really don't have anything much special planned for today, just goof around the house and garden as usual.

I'm definitely still celebrating, so no problem with being late to the party - it's still going on today!! The stove is scheduled to arrive today between 2:45 and 4:45 PM Pacific Time, and so it's not due for another hour and a half at the very earliest. I cleared a path, and now all I have to do is finish cleaning the rest of the kitchen, which is not essential, but will be nice. We got most of the path cleared yesterday, but there really wasn't a whole lot we had to do. Everything I moved today is easily portable - a couple of things are on casters, and so they roll in and out of place. It might be too dark by the stove is in place to take pictures today, but I can always use a flash. I think winter is over, however, as it is supposed to be 75° by tomorrow, but it will still be cool enough here for me to do some serious baking! Actually, it's usually not hot in the summer either - and anyway I have A/C. I'm still excited about the stove! Lars

Thank you again, everyone! Jessicavanderhoff, with Winter Sowing, your seeds are planted inside of a milk jug (or other plastic container). Some of my more tender annuals (Cosmos, Mexican Sunflower, Dill and a few others) look as if they did get a little cold but all my perennial seeds and hardy annuals held up fine! Sharon, I'm glad that I do :). People tell me I'm a funny person. A sense of humor is one of the best things anyone can have. Teresa, it's a gorgeous cake with an even more gorgeous flavor LOL.
