Trees, should I wait or plant now?????

I've been looking at some white flowering dogwood trees at my local coop. I understand that it's best to plant trees in the fall but the coop only gets them in the spring, by fall, they are sold out and don't get more until the spring. Seems backwards to me but never the less, they have them now.

So, should I:

1. Wait till fall and TRY to find another source?

2. Purchase now and care for them in the container through the summer then plant them in the fall?

Or

3. Plant them now and give them extra care through the summer?

Also, I picked up three Blue Atlas Cedar and a Deodora Cedar this week. I've been unable to get the Blue Atlas from any local dealers so while I was on vacation, I picked some up. The spot I'm going to plant them in does not get full sun during the summer but does get full sun in the fall/winter. So, should I:

1. Go ahead and plant the Cedar now?

2. Keep them in the container placed in full sun and care for them through the summer then plant them in the fall where they will have full sun until spring?

Thanks for any help.

Dennis
