WOW-The search function is fixed!

For a long time I haven't referred anyone to the forum to search for past info on particular seeds, knowing the search function was not working. I'm so glad to see it is finally fixed.

When did that happen? Just recently? I know someone posted in late Jan that they were getting the Whoops message yet when trying to access search results. Sorry if someone has already posted about it, as I'm more of an occasional lurker than a 'regular' here to the forum.

I did write to the "contact us" at the bottom
of the web page about a month ago. Every link under
Propagation was not working. The search and the links
below.

Sesbania's Gardening Tips
This list includes articles on starting seeds indoors and stratification. These links are still not working!
FIgures. GW is going to ........compost! grrr.

Is the link below what you were wanting maybe? I searched the 'entire' site and got it to come up.

Yes, Les...I know. What a PITA! Yes...the function was fixed and had worked for a few months now...maybe since Jan sometime. I noticed it was out very late last night, and reported it via the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. Hopefully they will get it fixed a LOT quicker this time. Plant trading time is heating up (for me and lots of others) and it is a pain to not be able to easily pull up a thread or a member page...sigh. I imagine it is just as important too to seed traders...still wanting to find those seeds for planting this growing season...sigh. Sue

In case that didn't make sense... I did a search for Poisondartfrog. I'm bumping this up as it is 'good to know.' Hopefully GW will get it fixed that it will pick up all the new threads started after Oct 17th. In the meantime, it is important that folks do a search, and add their review to the oldest (original) review thread that comes up for a member. If nothing comes up on the search, the only real alternative is to start a new one after maybe scanning a page or 2 to see if there might be a recent one already started. Maybe the hardware upgrades GW is making this week will fix the problem, or they will get to it here soon...hopefully. Sue...rbb
