I think Lynnette said at one time this was the best white HT she had grown. I don't believe it has even been sold in North America by anyone but Hortico. Really too bad.
That is a lovely white. I like the alternate name, ice cream. You do have some gorgeous roses. I wonder how long it would stay white in my garden after three days of thrips. So far, the only white I have (or light color) that is unaffected by thrips is Frau Karl Druschki. Not sure if it is because it is finished blooming with the early onslaught or because it is impervious or just what.
I was not aware that it was so hard to get in USA And you are right Patricia the syn name is Ice Cream. Good white HTs are hard to find and grow. I do not like those who spot. Another good white is Polsen Ht rose Silver Anniversary, which we call Karen blixen here in Denmark. I grow it for cutting since I like bouquets with white roses.
Palatine Roses in Canada carries this now. I bought one this year and it is a great rose. Palatine sells quality bushes at reasonable prices. I bought five as a test, and they passed with flying colors. All were excellent bareroots. John
