Christmas came early!

Received three envelopes today. One is probably a check from my aunt and uncle that I haven't opened yet, but the other two were from Smokemaster and Peppermania. Smoke hooked up a nice variety of scotch bonnets and a big ol' bag of Habanero Arbol seeds. Super stoked!

Peppermania was my xmas gift to myself. I wanted a good amount of chocolate scotch bonnet seeds and decided to grab a pack of those. In the process I came across chocolate fatalii seeds... count me f--kin in. Beth felt it necessary to throw in a dozen or so red fatalii seeds on top of the mystery bag which I've heard so much about. What a sweetheart!

The mystery bag is killing me too, cause now I have to grow them to find out what they are. =P

Anyone know what the dark brown seeds are? Never seen any seeds that color.

Dark brown or black are C.Pubescence seeds.
Manzanos,Rocotos are some of the names for the peppers depending where they are from.
i've got several plants going now.They like to be under 80- 85 or so degrees to fruit.
Some kinds get really big.
Crickets love them.They chew the outer layer off the plant.
Right now mine are growing like weeds.

Thank you all for the responses. This plant is from EOOM. I do not see any old spikes on this plant, but I did count all the leaves on it including all the little ones on the bottom of the plant. Don't know if they really count because they are seedling size leaves. I probably got lucky, being Christmas time. I hope my plant is like Jeanne and branches next year too. I will try to figure out how to put a picture on a website so I can show you my new "baby".

Well this is the first time growing pumpkins. I still cannot believe they grow that fast. I do have another seed packet for a backup plan to direct sow. I still want to try and grow them in the jugs and transplant them. To me this is all a fun experiment. If I get 3 big pumpkins for jack-o-lanterns then I'm laughing. As for space I will let 2 vines invade my backyard. Who needs grass anyways? One vine will get a lot of sun while the neighbourÂs house might shade the other a bit. I know I should have waited a bit but curiosity sunk this cat. I had to see how they would grow. Couldn't wait!

What beautiful plants and each with so many blooms, Nancy. Years ago I had a large Cc but one fall I forgot to bring it in for the night and it froze. Saved one small piece which has grown to a medium sized plant and today is full of buds. I leave it outside in the fall during the days to set buds and bring in for the nights. The cool temps let the plant set buds without needing a long period of darkness. Mine also spend the summer on the deck.

Ya shell I got your envelope. Thank you. I gotta get your seeds and smokemasters out this weekend. Work has been CRAZY, but now I have a 4 day weekend to get stuff done.

I'm stoked on the c. pubescens. Never grown them. I wanted to try rocoto this year but didn't get any seeds.
