Ghost question

Merry Chrismas all...First time posting. Lots of good info here.
This year I started 6 Ghost Peppers from seeds, unfortunately only one survived..my fault. Anyway, my question is..Does cross pollination with Jalapenos affect the heat of the Ghosts? I know the seeds would not be good for replanting.
It got a really late start and was loaded with peppers when the first frost hit here in E Tex. I dug it up and brought it inside. Wasn't sure if it was going to survive at first. It wilted and lost all the big leaves and looked pretty sad. I took all the peppers off and now about three weeks later, it's covered in new growth..yea! It should get huge next year. Just was wondering if I should isolate it from other peppers if it would affect the heat of the ghosts.
Thanks for any info...Dwain (actually, our first frost wasn't just three weeks ago. I made a mini green house over it with a 100 watt bulb for heat when the tempature would drop for about a month or more trying to let the scads of peppers on it ripen...most did)
