I've been using a combination of two T5 HO's and a 120w LED indoors. I've been able to get ghosts and other peppers to flower and fruit under this light combo. Even under this combination, they were slow to get going, and once going, they had to be moved directly under the LED to continue to grow. They seem to require much more light then lettuces for example that flourished on the outside under the flouros. Also, one secret to peppers is they like warmer roots. I got MUCH more growth on a heat mat then without. You will also have to pollinate them manually.

Seysonn, So are you saying its better to keep them in the smaller pots. I have 40 plus seedlings that will eventually be potted up and placed outside for the season in the next couple weeks. I have pots ranging from 1 gal to 20 gal. Any suggestions on which plants produce better vs pot size. For example should I keep the sweets and milds in the smaller pots and put the hots and super hots into larger pots. Or vise versa. I know for sure now that Im going to keep the max size to 5 gal now but was just curious. Will keep my bigger pots for my tomatoes. Last year my peppers produced til early October and I just purchased starts from Lowes and planted in June so I can have a fairly long season with the early start now. I don't know if this will be much help, but Jim Duffy (Refining Fire Chiles) says when they start setting flowers start feeding with a Bloom Booster, that it especially works well with the Bhuts. I've moved mine into the sunroom. With the temps in the triple digits or close to, for the last 4wks it's killing my peppers, I've moved all my super hots and habs inside. They seem MUCH happier.

Yes, you don't want to cut leaves produce your energy to make more peppers. When the plants are small, with a small root system, of your plant sets too many peppers, removing some of the flowers helps make the plant grow faster on the other hand, the pepper plants branch at points where they produce peppers. I like mine to branch so they make even more peppers later on. You have a nice sized healthy plant. I'd let it do it's thing.
