If you want something that is waterproof, they do make AquaGuard or NuCore laminate flooring that is made with recycled rubber. You could also go with a wood look tile option. But you could never really go wrong with a hardwood floor to increase the value of your home. Just throwing a few options into the ring. We had our floors installed we feel there is gaps between the boards and over time dirt will collect between them the company that installed them is amazing and trying to make things right… they said they could fill the gaps with wood filler and extend the warranty for 5 more years…. Is this industry standard ? They will have to fill a lot !!! Thoughts ? Debating to get a independent flooring inspector in. Thank you!

You will not get it to a natural finish then as the stain is in the bevels. You would need to sand the floor enough to remove the bevels to stain it natural or a lighter color.

We built in 2021 and used DuChateau, Riverstone Collection, color Sava. Hard wax oil finish. Very happy with the floors so far and they are wearing better than the site finished floors I've had before. I have 3 dogs. We are on a slab in FL. Hard to capture the correct coloring with the camera.
