What are you doing with all your goods from the garden?

Well, since frost got a lot of my veggie plants, I did what David mentioned in a previous post and picked everything from the garden. And I mean everything. My kitchen and fridge are overflowing with food. I gave some to my neighbors.

Today I made pesto from all the basil plants I plucked that were 1/3 frost burned and used the rest of the leaves. YUMMY over whole wheat pasta with cherry tomatoes from the garden!!

I'm also drying many of the herbs in paper bags in my pantry for winter use.

I'm shredding the zucchini and freezing in two cup portions for various zucchini bread recipes this Xmas. Thought it'd be an inexpensive gift for neighbors, teachers or hostess gifts.

I have so many sweet peppers and eggplant I don't know what to do with them.

I thought about making various pestos from the peppers and parsley that I could freeze for pasta, chicken & fish.

I'm getting tired of sauted swiss chard. What do you all do with it?

This is the funnest part of having a veggie garden! What are you doing with all your goods from the garden?
