Newbie looking for seeds (have a few to trade, just starting out)

Well, I'm new to pepper cultivation, so the only really cool variety of pepper i have to trade is the Peruvian Purple Chile which has some very beautiful dark purple foilage with purple peppers that mature to red. I mean the thing is purple from the day it breaks soil, pretty sweet.

I'm looking for seeds to start my collection, I'm even willing to pay for some if they are harder to come by. I'd prefer strains that are suitable to grow in containers since I live in an apartment for the time being, and I'm also interested in finding some insanely hot ones if anyone knows where to find some.

Hi Justin, thanks for offering to trade for the peruvian purple chile seeds- I already sent someone a sasbe for a few of those, so they are on the way. If they fail to germinate, I'll let you know.

Well, I just ordered 9 more varieties, so I'll have some of these for trade before long. I'm looking for a few peppers you can eat straight from the plant, a few that are extremely hot, and a few that would be good for making a hot sauce or salsa. Basically, I'm trying to get as many good varieties that I can. Since I'm a closet/balcony grower, I'd prefer only medium or small sized plants that would do well in containers. No 5 foot monster pepper plants please :)

I know you hadn't mentioned doing one, but after looking at your trade page for kicks, I noticed you have some brussel sprouts I'd like, and my San Marzano Redorta tomatoes might meet what you're looking for. :) Charlie, What the heck. I am also a newbie. It is nice to see that you do have seeds to trade and are not just asking for free seeds. Many people ask for seeds with no trade (which is against the forum rules). Members occassionally post offers for free seeds without a trade. Take these offers if you can use the seeds. Fill out your trade list and seeds wanted list even if it is short. Go to the bottom of the page and click on Member Pages. You will find all of the information you need. I am sending you an e-mail. I think we can work something out.

Once again, Garden Web friends shine thru to brighten each other's day. I've just received very pretty homemade jewelry from Jodi -Mngardener, wow, thank you again, hope we make many more trades. Hi SJack and Plant, welcome and hope you enjoy. I've just gotten inside, doing the basics, often watering twice a day and of course drying flowers. Rushing at the moment, had to check the posts, I do have extra seeds thanks mostly to Joseph-Callaloo1, just got his seeds too- Thank you again Joseph-we've planned another trade long enough. He's the Salvia and Japanese Morning Glory King, sent me some other really nice seeds - mostly glad about Rebecca's Marigolds as mine never returned, lots of Basil -Sweet Italian, both from this year, will divide and send out asap...along with other seeds I find and recieve. I'm looking for either bell peppers or sweet peppers. I never really liked them but a friend of mine bought a package from costco and told me to try them raw. I was like really? So I tried it and they tasted great. Sweet and with the bell pepper taste so I want to try my hand at growing some :) I bought 2 sweet peppers from Home depot.
