About me: I'm a college student who is just getting into gardening. Since my apartment doesn't have much balcony space, I'm experimenting with indoor cultivation under artificial light. I'm working on building a nice seed collection at the moment so hopefully I'll be able to trade in the future.

Commented: Crop to grow using ONLY fluorescents? 40 watt compact fluorescent lights go for about 10 dollars & they put out about 2600 lumens. You can pick up clamping shop-light fixtures already wired with extension cords & a round metal ref...
