Is my Plumeria sick?

In August '04 my fiance took me to Hawaii. I, of course, had to bring a plumeria cutting back. I never expected it to really grow, but I stuck it in a 15 inch pot with about a 50/50 mix of perlite and potting soil (per the directions) and put it on my west-facing screened porch (I live in a condo so it's my only option). It now has 4 branches all with leaves. I have never fertilized it, and my fiance waters it infrequently as it seems to prefer this. It came inside permanently a few weeks ago due to the cold weather, but is next to the sliding glass doors that go to the porch. I have noticed the leaves shriveling and falling off. Is it just going dormant for the winter? Missing outdoors? Needs water? I don't notice any pests on it.

Also, any basic tips would be appreciated. How often should we water and how much? When to fertilize?
