ouch... yes, I'm a pansy... suggestions for med hot peps?

Thank you, fiedlermeister, for the seeds you provided in 2006 so I could grow fluorescent purple, starfish, and lemon drop peppers so far. My 2-year-old plants produced this year (overwintered as houseplants), and FP and SF pods have ripened to beautiful red so I have tasted them.... wow. Twenty minutes of slowly drinking cold milk made the burn more tolerable.

LOL!

I am wondering if I will be able to detect the acclaimed citrus flavoring of lemon drop through the heat? Oh well, I will try.

I will grow FP again, the foliage is that beautiful IMHO. Starfish pods are interesting but I will probably not try it again. LD - we will see. ;-)

I would really like to find some hot peppers that aren't *that* hot. Do any of you have any favorites, or a suggestion on where I should be looking? It would be a bonus if the foliage or the pods are *interesting*, but not absolutely necessary.

Thanks in advance for any advice. And thanks again, John.
