Will My Rooted Crape Myrtle Cuttings Survive???

I took about half a dozen choctaw crape myrtle cuttings back in the summer and I had 4 of them root. I transplanted them into 4" pots about a month ago and they are doing great. They are about 6 inches tall, have new foliage and appear to have good roots. Are these too tender to plant in ground right now? If so, what should I do with them over winter???
