After reading all of your postings, I was inspired to try a hand at my first attempt at propogating with cuttings this week. I've always enjoyed gardening but have never tried to propogate by cuttings. I followed some of your tips and took cuttings of autumn joy, impatients, candytuft, black knight, lantana, hydrangeas, and coleus. I live in Northwestern South Carolina which is considered Zone 7. It's rather balmy here in the summers (today is almost 90 and 29% humidity). I used rootblast and I am keeping the soil moist with watering and I am keeping them in the shade. Since it's so humid, do I need to keep the plants covered to keep them moist? Does anyone know what humidty percentage is ideal? Thanks!
