Need some help with these sad looking plants!

Hi! I recently purchased a hot pepper variety pack from the garden center at Lowe's and now I'm having some problems with a couple of the plants. I transplanted them into some medium sized pots out back, watered frequently, used an organic insecticide (organocide), and sprayed some miracle-gro a few times a week. Mainly I'm noticing some heavy yellowing and weakening of the lower and middle leaves, while some of the top leaves are folding in on themselves lengthwise.

This short, stocky variety in particular (which I'm assuming is the caribbean pepper, or maybe the habanero - I have one of each) seems to be growing at a slower rate, and its lower leaves are not only yellowed but covered with brown blemishes as well.

Any ideas? I'd like to save this one!
