Moonflower vine question

I tried doing a search before posting this, but the search feature doesn't seem to be working right. Anyway, this year is the first time I've planted moonflower vines. They aren't flowering any more, and now there are large pods on them that I think may be seed pods? They are narrow on one end and then widen to about an inch across and the color is green with a little purplish blush. Are these seed pods, and if so, can I harvest the seeds for planting next year?
