Hello, Thanks for the link. I've looked at most of the ones folks have suggested, but they usually show mature trees. I've also looked at davesgarden, they tend to show a few more trees in various stages of growth. My fellow Texan suggested it could also be a Veitchia merrillii or a Adonidia merrillii (I'm assuming they are the same), and the photos at davesgarden of the merrillii sure looks a lot like what I've got. That is making me re-think what I have and thought was a Adonidia merrillii. My new one in the photos also looks very similar to the Ptychosperma Elegans, so who knows!! Maybe I just need to hire someone to come over and tell me what the heck I've got!! I just wish there was some definitive way to tell.... Thanks, Richard

Mike, having just read every word of your blog I am amazed at what you have got going there! It's a great site you have put together and I was very interested in reading it. How many seeds in total are you germinating, hundreds by the looks of things? Aaron, you too have a great site also with loads of great looking trees in the garden and some fantastic seeds to germinate also. I am a novice at this palm seed lark and am finding it very addictive already! Just wish I could gather palm seeds like you manage to do, but alas there aren't that many palm trees growing wild or otherwise here! It's great when those first seeds begin to sprout, have just got 2 more kinds to germinate myself, not quite on the scale of either of you though. Keep us posted on the next sprouters? Gill.
