Woo Hoo--Sunday's Weather Will Be Hot!

Okiedawn OK Zone 7

Isn't sunshine and heat just what our fall gardens need so the plants will have some photosynthesis going on?

It seems like it stayed cool and foggy and misty and cloudy and rainy for so long in September.

Down here in southcentral OK, we're looking at a forecast high for Sunday of 94 degrees. That's a bit warm for late September, but we'll take it! Even up in northern parts of the state, I think high temps will be in the low 90s.

Today was just a perfect day anyway--85 degrees and we only ran the air conditioner for a little while during the afternoon. The windows are open now and the cool night air is so refreshing. Somehow, I think the AC will have to work a little harder tomorrow.

I hope all the tomato plants catch a lot of rays so the green fruits will color up.....and I hope the bean blossoms turn into beans because they seem stalled.

I've linked the NWS Enhanced page that shows the forecast highs.

We have to enjoy this gorgeous weather while it lasts.
