Comments (26)For all those that urinate on their plants, it really pisses me off! Oh my Mercie!!lol Don't do that for fear you might get caught with your pants down. I have a couple of things you can do easier than that. Just do an Indian dance for rain every other day since rains pH is perfect and they will do fine. It has worked for me. Now I can't get it to stop raining..lol You should see how nice and green mine are now. Josh is right Merciepoo:-) Or, I should of told you that a long time ago that vinegar used correctly can enrich the color of your trees so much. You remember when mine use to be yellow? Using a capful of vinegar in my water has kept them a rich green for years. It naturally lowers the pH solution being applied to your acid loving plants and plants, well you can appreciate this, especially GARDENIA react very well to it. Comments (2)Great pics! I have one butia in shade that is painfully slow growing (actually shrunk a little in the past 3 years. I Planted another butia by a south facing brick wall this past spring and it has grown 4 fronds and 3 inches of trunk in its first summer! Sun seems to make a huge difference for my butias! Your weather looks a lot like the weather here the past week! Thanks for sharing! -Alex...See MoreEnd of Summer Pics
Comments (1)Great pics! I really like the row of Trachys in the back, I think that's an awesome look. When they are a little bit bigger, its going to make an incredible privacy hedge! How old are the younger ones? Thanks for sharing! -Alex...See MoreEnd Of Summer Pics. Warning: LOTS Of Pics.
Comments (4)Facebook is great for sharing with friends, but is a terrible place to post photos you wish to share with a broader audience. I'm on facebook, but the only way I can see your photos there is if you leave them open to the public since were not "friends" there. Personally, I leave hardly any portions of my profile open to the public on facebook, for security reasons, and, well its my personal profile, and mainly people I am friends with on there, I know personally in real life. I'm not sure I would want strangers / the general public to be able to go through all my personal photos which also contain photos of close personal friends either. Probably a better place to put them for the purposes of sharing them on places like Garden Web, or any other public forum would be a free photo sharing sites like Photobucket, Flickr, or Picasaweb. That said, I too look forward to seeing your photos! Please post them here! As the old message board Icon saying goes... "THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICTURES!"...See Moretropicalzone7
