A great summer is about to get better!

While we have had well above average temperatures the past 9 days we have had no rain until last night. When we have had rain this spring it has been when a cold front has moved in. Each time it would get dry but the temperature would be way down. Finally we have rain moving in with a warm front for a change. I have noticed no matter how much I water on continuous sunny 90 degree days I see more growth on a hazy 83 degree day when my palms are sucking up rain water. We are about to get the best of both worlds. It rained hard last night and never got sunny or dry enough for the soil to dry (my largest Musa Basjoo's new leaf literally opened overnight). We have a wall of green heading this way again and it is supposed to by hazy and mid 80s tomorrow. Again, not enough to dry things out. Then a 7 day stretch with a mix of sun, partly cloudy conditions, and scattered storms with highs something like this 89 91 86 87 86 88 86 86. Bring it on.
