seed borne disease

I like to save seeds from my peppers and share them. This year I'm growing around 30 varieties of peppers. Some varieties that I'm really excited about growing this year are not available commercially. I got seeds from individuals overseas. I'd really hate to pass on infected seeds to anyone. Should I treat the seeds before I plant them? Should I use trisodium phosphate? I was able to buy powdered TSP in my local hardware store. I've read that a 10% solution of TSP can be used to clean seeds. I'm way too many years from my high school chemistry class to remember how to make up a 10% solution.
