more spider mite stuff

I just got my shipment of the LLB I ordered to deal the the mites on the baby buddleia. In reading the instructions, I can see that it would cost an absolute fortune if I were to try it on anything large. It has to be sprayed for 2 or 3 days in a row, both tops and bottoms of leaves, and then repeated later on. Oh, well. If it saves this one young plant, I'll be happy with it.

I did notice that the big marigolds I planted in the flower bed are still fine and untouched by the mites, although the ones 75' away in the veggie garden are a total disaster. Or they were before I ripped them out and bagged them up. The few dwarf volunteer marigolds from last year are also still in good shape. No trace of spider mites on them at all. How strange!
