I am interested in trading for your torch gingers, I have tried to email you with the items I think you would be interested in, but I am not able to send you an email. Please email me I would like to send you a plant list. Just a few things not on your list. I have white and dark purple lily of the nile. Both chinese ground orchids and the other ground orchids, both purple in color. I have a double brugmansia rooted "Sam", yellow, white, or purple double datura, sweet memories duranta, giant red leaf crinum, candle stick plant, tropical bleeding heart vines,both colors, red and white and purple and red. I also have palm trees that you did not list, I can send the parlor palm and cardboard palm, and seeds for the King Palm, and Alexander Palm. Variegated rubbler tree, african dasies purple, yellow, and cream, these just bloom in zone 9 non stop. I also have the african hosta. I would really like to send a list of the plants I have thru email. I will be going down this weekend, and would be able to list what I have available, I have an acre of gardens in Texas, zone 9. Sadly, i cannot help with the canadian seedcorn. i do have several corns i love to grow that you may have an interest in. am getting a small (60 seed )sample of glass gem from utah but would love a bit more diversity for this intriguing landrace :)i was lucky enough to get a sample of hickory cane corn from ken scharabock years ago through a growout request in countryside magazine.i could trade this,hickory king (white or yellow),krug dent, greenfield dent, or eureka ensilage for a sample of glass gem ( i'm trying for at 200 seed minimun for stability and diversity :) I also have several hundred tomato varieties and hot peppers ( including pimento de padron peppers that i have been growing for 7 years) If you have any interest in a trade, please let me know .thanks! There are two kinds of Agapanthus, evergreen leaved and deciduous. The varieties of agapanthus that lose their leaves and go dormant are completely winter hardy in the ground in zone 5. They need full sunshine, fertile well drained soil, and they like to be fertilized on a regular basis. Every once in a while the plants need to be dug up and divided because they tend to get "overgrown" and don't make flowers very well after 10 - 15 years of growing in the same spot. These are some of my agapanthus that have been growing in the ground outside in zone 5 for the last 40 years. They have been divided and replanted many times in that period. The temperature is 2 F outside today and the agapanthus are fine - they don't get mulched at all here but it wouldn't hurt them. It is a plant that is best put into the ground in the early part of the season so it has time to establish before the winter sets in. I wouldn't plant it out in the autumn. This agapanthus was grown from seeds someone gave me a million years ago - the picture is from last summer.

If you can save a couple of the white habanero and dry the seeds I am interested in some. We have about 12 - 15 varieties of peppers growing for our salsas and sauce and also pepper jelly. I can trade pepper seeds or agapanthus ( lily of the nile ) blue or white. Have reg hab. & cowhorn.
