I'm not sure if it is totally my fault, but the buck stops with me! One label i've found for the sticker indicates to dilute the sticker with ten parts water PRIOR to mixing with the finished spray product in the amount of 2TBS of the diluted sticker mixture..The label online just says 1TBS of sticker per gallon. The label was suspicious enough that I asked in Agway and the manager confirmed for me, or so I thought, that the mixture was simply 2TBS of the bottled sticker per gallon of spray mix. I guess I should have followed my suspicions and just saide to heck with it and stuck with what I've been doing for the past four years......Depending on what label I read for the sticker, I may have applied the equivelent of 10 TBS per gallon if in fact the sticker had to be mixed with ten parts water prior to addition to the spray solution

Thanks texas-weed for the reply. I'm sure that the roundup did affect the back yard as there is one area that I did not spray that is greening up fine. The dormant looking areas that I did spray with RU are still the beige/brown color from all winter, not dead looking, so I guess I just wait for the bermuda to forgive me for abusing it with round up! You probably didn't kill them, but you didn't do them any favors,either. Somehow, some folks in Tennessee have decided that roses are the same plants as other shrubs. This leads to some who severe prune as early as late September and again in November. This sort of thing takes strength away from the plants. Roses don't want to go dormant here. If you cut them in fall, they'll put out new growth in two to four weeks, even though it's not yet winter. That growth will probably be killed in late December, and that earlier cutting will have taken away the stored 'strength' that would go to regrow the plant in spring. I've watched some Knockout that have been pruned three times this fall. I don't know what the heck the grounds crew thinks they are doing, much less why. What you should have done (in my opinion) was go through and snip off broken canes. Then in late December go in and prune back for height, depending on how high you want them to be next year. The winter killed new growth that you are going to get, you'll see it contorted and blackened, you can snip it off in winter as well.

With these, you can prune around or just after bloom. You should be fine.
