Tomatoes are drowning!

BrittB

Last year there wasn't enough rain, this year theres too much. Arrrg!!

My tomatoes in the 5 gal buckets are literally drowning right now. I've got so many leaves turning yellow after all these rains. Is there something I can do to dry them out quicker? Should I drill more holes in the buckets?

Also, I have a bunch of left over orchid fertilizer (11-35-13) that is a water soluble type. Could I possibly use this in very very small amounts for the tomatoes? Or would that be a little overkill? I just want to use it for something instead of wasting it
