Helpful Garden Hints Thread

I have several Daisy trays (the web kind of tray that the stores sometimes send your plants home in). Some of them I use over and over to hold my small pots, but others don't fit my pots. I keep them anyway because when the winter squash start to form, I don't want it left on ground. I turn the trays upside down under the squash rather than let the fruit touch the ground and so the air can flow under it. Probably a lot more of an issue in the wetter parts of the state.
