Is there an online site that sells great indoor palms?

I was hoping someone knew of a few places that gives you a wide selection of great indoor palms plants..

I though I saw someone mention it before, a lot in Florida, but I can't seem to find it..

Sorry, I cant think of any, but usually home depot does have some nice indoor palms and at a cheap price.

I hope someone has a better answer for you!

The palms they sent me were huge and shipping was free.

Prices are high on the site, but I bargained with them and got the price way down by buying four.

Paula, it's too bad you can't find this palm at a local store. Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart. The reason is, there were a few online stores that sold palms, but I think, one in particular closed their doors. I can check if you'd like. There are some online shops, like FTD that charges a fortune. 49.99+..stores like HD sell the same plant for 9.99 in a 10" container. It's been a few years since I bought a palm online, but let me check and get back to you.. Sorry, wish I could be more help..Toni

Here's a good site with more information than you ever wanted to know about earthworms Down at the bottom is the reproduction rate of the European nightcrawler--about 2 worms every 90 days (from egg laying to maturity). That's a geometric curve. Completely ignoring predation (minor until there's a good number of them), illness (minor in small populations as a general rule), etc. from the probably 100 worms you have scattered about the property (seeing two means you have a whole lot more and I'm shooting low): 200 in September 2007 Winter asleep 400 in June 2008 800 in September 2008 1600 in June 2009 3200 in September 2009 The curve goes fast from there, but limited resources, predation, etc. start to impact it much more strongly. That initial 100 was a very low-ball estimate. Also, worms seem to be the result of good, organic soil, not the creator of it (they eat the bacteria that eat the organics). For aeration, nothing beats a good symbiotic fungus or bacteria.

Realpalmtrees.com (in Florida) Hands down one of the best sellers/growers. Only problem is they are quite expensive. If price is not a big factor you would do quite well buying from them. Their palms are certified and guaranteed. I got an Xmas palm from them a couple years ago and it shipped in the pot and was (and still is) perfect. It was about 6' tell when I bought it. Good luck, I'm sure others here will chime in with plenty of other trusted sellers too.

Reimer's has a well-established history of unbelievably, insultingly poor customer service, AND they sell seeds that are way, way beyond fresh, to the point of zero percent germinization. Don't take my word for it. There are many others who would say the same. I suggest you check out Dave's Garden website for more instances of customers' reaction to Reimer's. Gardeners and/or market gardeners should avoid Reimers, they're nothing but crooks. Reimer's sleaze harms all of the honorable suppliers who market via the web. Suggest you try: FedcoSeeds.com; Johnnyseeds,com, Harrisseeds.com, Stokeseeds.com, Shumway, Cooks, Pinetree, Dixondale Farms (for onion plants) and many others. I have 45 years vegetable gardening experience, and have been a commercial market gardener since 1991. There are lots of good online seed sources. Reimer's is definitely not one of them!

My favorite indoor palm is the majesty and it can be found aty any big box store. The key is lots of light and lots of water. In the summer take it outside

I'll agree Realpalmtrees.com is a great seller and has unmatched selection. They are quite spendy though. If you can afford it, they are top-notch.

My favorite indoor palm is Xmas Palm. I do have one from realpalmtrees.com and a few others. I highly recommend the Xmas palm for indoor use, they look great (like a smaller royal palm) and don't get too tall indoors (6-8 feet is my experience). Search Christmas Palm on Ebay right now. There is a seller with nice double trunk specimens for an extremely reasonable price, and the shipping is even reasonable. Tempting, I almost ordered more myself...

Real Palm Trees.com ships palms fully potted (and quite heavy). That's one of the reasons they are so spendy I think. Very heavy for UPS... They ship well protected and very healthy as a result. They ship from Fort Meyers, FL. They also guarantee their plants and the customer service is excellent. Again, you will pay a premium though. If cost is not that big of a deal, I don't think you can find anyone better to order from online.

I bought many palms from Bill at PiousPalms. He is great to deal with and his prices are great and shipping is cheap. Ask him to send you a price list as I believe he has one on an Excel spreadsheet. Good guy all around.
