As I Have Flower Buds on my Incarnata.... YAY

I'm Growing for Fruit.... I'm Hoping that they will ripen well as they are growing inside on a windowsill... This Windowsill gets the Sun all day.... So Do you think I've go a chance to get Ripe Fruit?

Is the fruit on a P. incarnata edible? I know the P. edulis fruit isÂ Just wonderingÂ :) I didn't know that the P. incarnata fruit was edible.

Oops, didn't mean it indicate I've done it all in the last few days! I just finished the list that's been staring me in the face for the last few months. Today I did the last thing, dug up an out of control western clematis that had forced itself between the fence and the reed screen I had stapled to the fence (can we say rat city, folks?). There's still plenty of dead heading, dividing and weeding to do, but it's in manageable amounts that can be done a little at a time, every time I walk thru the yard.

Oh,You have reason to be dancing away, to have a expensive daylily to make it and come back. I have Asiatic Lillies thats 2 foot high and loaded with buds already..And I have roses blooming that dont have black spot on them yet. Usually they have Black spot on them before I see one bloom and I do spray them for it, too.This first flush looks better then they ever have and have bigger blooms, too. Jean

The fruit is edible, at least the little sack around the seeds. But you won't get fruit without you doing the pollinating with that plant being indoors.

Mum has a Massive Caerulea 'Constance Elliot'(It came from John Vanderplanks Collection) at her house, so when the time comes I'll be using that Pollen... I hope.... *Grin*
