Identifying a palm tree

We planted a 3 trunk palm in our front yard in Naples Florida about 3 years ago and cannot remember the type of palm. It has 3 trunks coming from 1 ball and we have seen similar trees with only 1 and 2 trunks. I would like to post a picture but don't know how to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

All you have to do is open a photo bucket account
it's free.. when you open it all you have to do is
send your pics to photo bucket then copy them to the posted message where it ask for the url don't forget to upload them.. I promise it's easier than it sounds !

The first palm tree looks more like a Phoenix Dactylifera to me ( i have 6 dif. date palms in a good size and it just looks a little more like a dacty. to me.) the second is a Yucca Rostrata and i would say a Washingtonia Filiferia because your in Cali... just like the huge trunk pictured is a filiferia so i would guess that little one is also... very nice palms tho -Justin in Vb

You might have to wait a while for that one to fruit, but there should be a lot of them all over the Philippines fruiting any time.

That is Adonidia merrilli, also called "Christmas Palm", or just plain "Adonidia".

Thank you all, what we have is definitely a "Christmas Palm". Another question is can the palm be propagated from the seeds that are in the pods that are under some of the palm froens? Thanks

Yup, when the fruit is red, they should be ripe.

How do I know when the seeds are ripe? I have one of those pods on the tree right now.

When the fruit turns red the seeds are ripe
