Hi. It is early Spring here in Australia. I was worried that one of my peonies had perished so yesterday I dug around in the soil until I located it. However the eyes/shoots appear to be white instead of pink. Is this possible and if so what could be the cause? (I'm sure they were pink last year). This is a Bowl of Beauty peony. All my other peonies have pink shoots.

Couldn't it also be Cora Stubbs? Unless my memory is playing tricks on me (might be!), I think Cora is somewhat like that also. It's been some time since I've seen one. Kate
