Finished making tomato cages last night...

I bought 150' of concrete reinforcing mesh (60" tall) at HD a few weeks ago and just (late) last night finished off the last half of it. I made about 32 cages out of it. It took at least 4 hours total. I am already wanting to get more to replace my old welded wire cages for the last half of my plants. The large holes are very nice to work with. On the other hand, I don't want to cut them and bend them up any more. That gets old fast.

For those of you using the concrete reinforcing wire, anything I should be aware of or improve on as I go? The two I have learned quickly is to always use gloves and be careful, and to put them on before the plants are very big. Dawn know what she is talking about when she says she always puts them on when she puts the plants in the ground. Some of mine were too big to be doing this late.
