Hi guys... i would like silver queen or any very sweet white corn for the following peppers..(some are REALLY WEIRD) that i have below.. and/or melons/pumpkins (You can always check my list for other stuff too.) WANTED: Sweet corn (E.G. SILVER QUEEN, COUNTRY GENTLEMEN, TRUE PLATINUM, sE vARIETIES: SPRING SNOW, SUGAR PEARL, AND sh2 Varieties TAHOE, HOW SWEET IT IS.......) HAVE; Peppers........4 types. "Finger" (?) peppers (photo attached) (and no they are NOT serrano nor jalpeno, at least 100,000-350,000 scoville (Hotter than scotch bonnet I'VE HAD) Cheese peppers Italian fryers Poblano MELONS/PUMPKINS: 5 DIFF Melon, Pride of Wisconsin '13 (Organic seed) Watermelon, Heirloom, Cream of Saskatchewan - White watermelon '13 (Organic seed) LEMONDROP MELON (Organic, NON-GMO) Jack-b-little Pumpkin (Organic) Small sugar Pumpkin (Mike's NON-GMO) ALSO FYI..... Several people have contacted me about wanting specific seeds from me and proposed trades. how great!! If you have done so..PLEASE follow through as i have been holding the seeds aside for you and have either taken them off my list or told others their trades are pending because they are being held aside for someone else...(I use the first come, first served philosophy)...so,... If we had a gentlemen's agreement and you have not yet sent out your proposal seeds for what you asked please do so immediately as I will be reposting all of the seeds held aside as AVAILABLE to others right after Labor Day.. thank you for your understanding. Hi Dar! Does the spot get morning/evening sun? If it's strictly shade I doubt you would get any blooms. Mine get direct sun for an hour or so in the morning then dappled light until about 4pm. After that I have to roll them from underneath the arbor when I get home from work to receive filtered light threw an oak tree. Labor of love, eh? I've got some other Hedychiums in the ground (I'll have to dig them up in the fall) that receive direct sun until about 2 or 3 then filtered light. I was shocked to see a flower spike forming on my 'Peach Delight'. This has H. coronarium as one of its parents and the Plant Delights site states the following about its scent - 'The fabulous honeysuckle-like fragrance is superb.' H. coronarium's scent makes me swoon however it does take a long time for it to bloom so fingers crossed that one of its children does have some of its fabulous scent! :) -Robert Here is a link that might be useful: So many gingers to choose from!

Interesting about the popcorn. I know that a lot of vegetables, including corn are high in carbs. And for GMO, well, in reality, there's not many fruits or vegetables around or for that matter even meats that aren't hybrid these days. A friend of mine went on a diet and her doctor suggested ignoring most of the traditional diets and go with, eat nothing your grandparents (/great-grandparents) didn't eat. Most of our ancestors were in pretty good shape, though I suspect that the lack of video games, cell phones, televisions and the like contributed a lot to that. Anyway, as she was also apprised, very few fruits allowed, no grapes, etc. We don't have the kind they ate. Many vegetables fall in the same category. Grow it yourself? Good idea, but where do you get great-grandpa's seeds? Although it worked well for her weight loss, she said it was terribly difficult to follow. Corn is probably my favorite veg. The biggest problem is getting good corn. I'm a fan of the deep yellow, large, firm kerneled variety. Hard to find that around here anymore. Just that tasteless bi-color crap and I'll open a can or a bag before buying that stuff. For a real treat, take that cob, rub a little bacon fat on it and a touch of pepper. YEOW, dat's good.
