fabtastic ! 12 feet very nice . sunflowers really brighten any garden I don't think I'll see seeds this year my 10 footer has not flowered yet all the rest are or starting my second tallest is 6'11 as of this morning . nice pic and it doesn't look like it is being supported .It's hard to believe some grow over 20 feet lol

I don't spray sandcherry at all. It gets completely defoliated for a little while in summer but the leaves grow back quickly. It's happened every summer for years and it hasn't killed it yet. I'll try to notice this summer how long it's leafless, a week at the most I think. I could smell it from more than 50 feet away when I was outside today.

Pretty! I have a pink and white one like your top photo but there's barely any blooms on mine. I moved it last year because it was in an area that was neglected. I'm hoping that it will get bigger now that it's in a better spot. I've tried the fernleaf bleeding hearts three different times and can't get them to survive.
