Woo Hoo! Rain For Western OK. Rain Map Here

Okiedawn OK Zone 7

Finally, finally, finally, some significant rain has fallen in many parts of western Oklahoma.

Remember the old saying "It takes a flood to end a drought"? While this one rainy spell won't end anyone's extreme or exceptional drought, it might be the beginning of the end of the drought for those counties.

If y'all are in western OK areas where heavy rain has fallen, watch for local flooding.

I've linked the 24-hour rainfall map below.

Meanwhile, some of us are still waiting for the storm to reach us, but I'm not complaining. Rain will reach us sooner or later, and I wouldn't mind if I was able to get some harvesting and weeding done this morning before it arrives.

Hope y'all are having fun watching the wet stuff fall from the skies, and watch out for severe weather!

Tomatoman Billy: If you see this, I want to know if your tomtoes are swimming? I hope you got the good wet stuff at your place and not the hail or tornadoes or wind damage.
