Any others in zone denial?

It would be interesting to see how many of us are trying one or more plants that aren't supposed to grow in our zones. I've had some successes with things that aren't listed as hardy in my zone (6b) by most sources. Among them are camellias, jasmine, clerodendron, agapanthus and yucca recurvifloia. Apparently nobody told the plants that aren't supposed to be growing here! Trying for the first time this year Gardenia "Frostproof" and Hedychium. And of course there have been failures, but I chalk those up to experience and learning. It's challenging to try something different and can be rewarding. Although I hate to see any plant die, as long as it's not an expensive one, its' not so bad. I figure I'll be remembered as a pioneer..................... or an idiot! But gardening has to be fun and interesting, so I keep trying.

So, let's hear from some other adventurous gardeners!
