As far as I know, Paula has not yet emailed instructions on how to reach the location of the Spring Fling. She usually does that much closer to the actual date of the event.

I suspect she received your e-mail that I forwarded to her and that you are indeed on her mailing list. Let's see if she sees this message and responds to let you know you're on her list.

To correct your e-mail address on your member page, go back to the main page of the Oklahoma Forum and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

At the very bottom of the page is a green line that includes the Garden Web name and a list of words horizontally across that green area. Near the right side of the green box you'll see the words "Member Pages". Click on those words and they'll take you to another page. On that page is a list of options. I think the one you want will say something like "Edit Preferences....". Click on that to take you to your page so you can correct your email address.

If that doesn't work, let me know. No one else can edit your Member Page for you because it is password protected and you don't want to post your password on line.

Hi, guys!!! I'm here and yes, I got the forwarded e-mail. I've got your e-mail Telow! I sat down last nite to compile a list of confirmed attendees and kids. I intended to post on the 2012 Spring Fling thread....but then the cotton-pickin' phone rang and it was estate related family business, etc., etc....It was midnite before I got bed so I'm going to shoot for an update this evening.

There's actually an easier way to edit your email address. At the very top of the page, it says Welcome! and then says Your Profile. Click that link and it'll take you right to the edit profile page. The place to change your email address is right at the top of the page.

Thanks guy's, I really appreciate the heads up.

I'm back....I followed all of your directions and it still will not let me change my email address. Everytime I change the address and click on save this profile, red letters pop up that say its already in the system even when I'm on edit your profile. What am I doing wrong?

I don't know. Let me go try to edit my e-mail address and see what I get. Hold on....

Terry, It rejected my first attempt to change my email address, but then accepted my second attempt. On my second attempt, I edited other personal data so the email wasn't the only thing I was changing. Then, I went in a third time and changed my email address back to the original address, changing nothing else, and it accepted that as well.

Try it again and see if it will take your second attempt. You might want to change some other piece of personal data like I did to see if that helps the system accept your email address change. I don't know why it is rejecting your efforts. From the error message, it seems as if it thinks you're trying to set up a whole new profile instead of just changing your email. I don't know why.

Thank you Dawn for spending your precious gardening time to help me. I will try again...and again...and again.At least one good thing happened while I was messin' with my profile.....the postman pulled up with a cherry tree from Raintree that I was beginning to think they had forgotten me. Plus 50 strawberries. Looks like i'll be getting my knees wet

Terry, If you can't get it to work, you also could post your correct e-mail address down in the area where you type in personal information about yourself along with a note that says it is your correct address.

I don't mind spending "precious gardening time" to help a friend, and you are welcome. I am practically computer illiterate myself and anything more complicated than logging on, logging off or posting a message or simple link requires I find my DH or DS and get their assistance. I also have a smartphone that is smarter than I am and if I try to do anything other than talking and texting, all kinds of misadventures ensue. It is a major event when I successfully take a photo with my phone's camera and successfully send it to someone AND they receive it AND they can tell what is pictured in the photo.

I must have been out in the garden working when they handed out the "technology gene" and I missed that whole process so all these high-tech things drive me batty. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate the technology, but I find it hard to make it do what I want or need for it to do.
