Acacia doing well from seed - Picture

homernoy

Here is a picture of an Acacia dealbata seedling. I took the seed just down the street from me from a large specimen that is just beautiful to say the least. I will post a picture of the parent plant as well. The seeds germinated outside with no treatment whatsoever, and were just left exposed in a pot all winter long last year. Didn't seem to do any of them harm, but I am kind of getting concerned that now they are in the ground, if I don't move a couple of them, they might crack my sidewalk in a couple of years. As you can see my yard needs work. I don't have a nice neat yard, or lawn like most of you do. Just lazy, and am gone six months out of the year.

Just took this tonight, so excuse the poor quality.
