Cattleya guatemalensis alba, I just recently traded for a piece of this plant and was singing in the rain all the way home. A hard plant to track down, it is a natural cross tween c. skinneri and c. aurantiaca. Normally they are colored in the peach, coral tones. The parents are normally lavender (skinneri) and orange (aurantiaca) and must be from same area, check... central america, specifically Costa Rica (of which skinneri is the national flower), bloom around same time... check... have the same pollinators.... check and voila' primary hybrid.
