Variegated hydrangea won't bloom

I have a question about my variegated hydrangeas. I have 7 of them, planted in the summer of 2004, various parts of the yard, which bloomed the first year but haven't bloomed since.

Last year I fertilized them with MG and although they got bigger they didn't bloom. I'd like to get an early start this year, feeding them whatever I may need to to get them to bloom. I don't know if my soil is alkiline or acidic, they also get various amounts of sun because of the different locations.

I've posted a picture below of one of them (the plant in the front).

Any advice is appreciated, thanks. BTW, I also posted this on the Hydrangea forum.
